About Scalable Computing Systems Lab.
- The primary research focus of Scalable Computing Systems Lab. is on scalable software architecture on cutting-edge hardware technologies (i.e., non-volatile memory and multicore CPU).
Research topics include:
- Operating systems (Linux kernel)
- Database systems (Relational DBMS, NoSQL storage)
- Distributed systems
- High-performance transactional information systems
Scalable Computing Systems Lab. is looking for undergraduate interns, graduate students, post-docs.
Feel free to contact Prof. Hyungsoo Jung (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have the right skills and relevant interests on any of research topics.
*** For those who seek undergraduate intern positions, I strongly recommend you to take “Algorithms & Data Structures” and “Operating Systems” prior to contacting me. Taking “Multicore Programming” is a big plus to undertake a research project in our lab, since it would take enormous time and effort to design concurrent data structures & algorithms while learning the subject without having relevant knowledge.
